Lol, so yeah, im back.. looking at my high school years...And i realize that.. high school has taught me alot...

1 High school forced me to learn how to text without looking at my phone!
2 High school students are stupid.
3 High school Students are naive.


4 All girls will go.
5 the word "friend", means nothing.
6 The moment a girl breaks up with her boyfriend, chances are.. one of her"best friends" will have sex with them, or at least try.
7 Nothng is a Secret.
8 If you want something to be a secret.. dont tell anyone, keep it to yourself.
9 most of the "popular" kids wont do anything with their life.
10 running full school day on 3 hours of sleep is cool, when you spent that time talking to someone important.

A psychotherapist.... Tempting... Or not..

So while in the car Monday talking... My friend cut me off and said "you should be a therapist"..What? I said.. Why? "I don't know, i just love listening to you talk, and im sure other people would too. Your voice is so smooth, and calming".. Honestly, at that moment, i did consider being a shrink.. then i cam to my senses...

Yeah, I guess i do have a low soft voice, but if you really listen to the words that come out of my mouth, youll quickly realize that... you dont want me to be your shrink.. Ill end up making someone kill them self, lol. She then said "Yeah i guess youd either make them want to kill themself, or make them want to take off their panties"... (well with this drought, either one would suit me,lol)

we then began to play around with a different scenarios:
Patient: I feel fat, and when people look at me i feel so self concious, i just want to ball up in a corner and cry.
Dr. Borom( in soft, calming voice)- Well, you let me tell you something.. You are fat, and i think that you would make everyone happy if you did in fact go ball up in a corner...

LOL. that was hilarious! probably another one of those things that you just have to be there to witness. But in short..I couldnt be a therapist... The patient would need a bunch of self esteem before they stepped foot in my office. And if that were the case, they probably wouldnt need me in the first place.

hmmm, a Facebook IPO??

Well when i first saw this article i thought... Would i really want to invest in a social networking fad. Well yes that is exactly would id be interested in... Well that is if in 2012, people even still care about facebook. It could be just like Blackplanet, or tagged... A fad, that will eventually fade away once someone finds something else to invest their time into...But most likely, the day Facebook drops its IPO, im going all in, then when it flips, im getting out of dodge. Now i kind of see it as a stock like crocs... Great stock, it dropped, quad rippled, then when people lost interest, it crashed, and never returned... Hmmm.........

July 30 (Bloomberg) -- Facebook Inc. will probably put off its initial public offering until 2012, giving Chief Executive Officer Mark Zuckerberg more time to gain users and boost sales, three people familiar with the matter said.

Facebook would benefit from another year of growth absent the added scrutiny that comes with a public listing, instead of holding an IPO in 2011 as investors speculated, said the people, who asked not to be identified because Facebook doesn’t discuss share-sale plans. Still, Zuckerberg, who holds board control, could push for a stock sale at any time, they said.

Waiting lets Zuckerberg, 26, hone the skills needed to steer a company that issues quarterly results while facing criticism on such matters as user privacy. Facebook, valued at $24.9 billion, would use the time to propel its user base beyond the 500 million mark reached this month and add to sales that two of the people said may double to at least $1.4 billion in 2010 from $700 million to $800 million last year.

“The burden of being public has never been greater,” said Kevin Landis, who manages about $260 million at Firsthand Funds in San Jose, California, and has invested in the technology industry for 16 years. “Zuckerberg doesn’t have to put his name at the bottom of four 10-Q statements every year and attest that everything in there is true or else he’s responsible. The minute it’s public, he does.” Landis doesn’t have direct knowledge of Facebook’s IPO plans.

Jonathan Thaw, a spokesman for Facebook, owner of the world’s largest social network, declined to comment. Zuckerberg, in a television interview this month, said Facebook will go public “when it makes sense,” without elaborating.

Pressure Allayed

Some investors had speculated a share sale might happen in 2011 after venture capitalist Jim Breyer, a member of Facebook’s board, said in January that the Palo Alto, California-based company isn’t focused on a 2010 sale. Instead, Facebook’s management is trying to woo more users and developers, Breyer said at the time.

Startups are often urged to sell shares by employees and investors eager for a return on their equity. In Facebook’s case, some of that pressure has been allayed by private sales, often facilitated by such exchanges as SecondMarket Inc. and SharesPost Inc., which help find buyers for startup shares.

SharesPost values Facebook at $24.9 billion, more than double its value in March.

Zuckerberg’s Challenges

Zuckerberg faces a range of challenges, including management of a rapidly growing workforce and rising competition from companies including Twitter Inc., the blogging service that has amassed more than 190 million monthly visitors.

Facebook is also contending with heightened regulatory scrutiny over how it handles users’ personal data. And it’s up against a lawsuit that contests company ownership. A New York man, Paul Ceglia, claimed in state court in June that he owns an 84 percent stake, based on an April 2003 contract. Facebook has said the lawsuit is “frivolous, if not outright fraudulent.”

“If they have other sources of capital, the company would probably be better off deferring an IPO until Zuckerberg had more experience under his belt,” said Ray Valdes, a San Jose, California-based analyst at Gartner Inc.

Facebook’s timetable may disappoint technology investors who speculated an IPO would encourage other startups to wade into the public markets. Venture-backed IPOs dwindled in the past 2 1/2 years as the financial crisis wiped out investment banks such as Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Bear Stearns Cos. and forced many hedge funds to close.

IPO Dearth

This year, 40 companies put off or have withdrawn IPOs in the U.S., according to Bloomberg data.

“The companies that went public in the second quarter had to have readjusted price expectations on average,” said Hans Swildens, founder of Industry Ventures LLC, a San Francisco-based investing firm that owns a Facebook stake. “The capital markets are swinging week by week. It’s a very hard time.”

Facebook, founded in 2004, now has about 1,400 employees. Investors include Accel Partners, Microsoft Corp. and Elevation Partners LP, the private-equity firm among whose founders are Bono and Roger McNamee. Besides Zuckerberg and Breyer, board members are Internet entrepreneur Marc Andreessen, money manager Peter Thiel of Founders Fund and Donald Graham, CEO of The Washington Post Co.

Zuckerberg holds board control, according to “The Facebook Effect,” a chronicle of the social network’s origins by David Kirkpatrick.

Silicon Valley ‘Watershed’

Elevation Partners has bought Facebook shares in private transactions that total $210 million, a person familiar with the matter said in June. Digital Sky Technologies, a Russian investor, has accumulated a stake of almost 10 percent, people familiar with the matter said in May.

Mutual fund managers and individual investors want their own chance to invest in Facebook’s growth, said Ted Hollifield, a partner at law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP in Palo Alto.

“There’s definitely the market demand and appetite for a very successful IPO,” said Hollifield, who works with venture capital firms and startups. “Facebook’s IPO is going to be a huge watershed for the whole Valley.”

So today i woke up... did the usual taxi ride, then came home, went back to sleep,got back up to run some errands. On my way out, my phone vibrated... once... then twice... I already knew who that was.. So i pulled out my phone and replied.. "Get dressed, ill be there in 10". So we go back to target to return the conditioner.. then to the bank then to harolds which i have been craving since i came back from new york.. It was still an hour or so before she had to get back home to get ready for work so i decided that we would go chill out at my church......


While we were there, we talked laugh, she met some people, then this girl from kenwood walked in.. "David! funny seeing you here, i need to talk to you! COme here"
I said.. no its cool you can just sit down with us, she can hear anything you have to say. .. So she says "ok, well... whats wrong with Bridgette?" We just laughed.. Then i said.. What do you mean? You mean her crossing over to the other side,lol.. "yeah exactly, whats up with that".. You know, idk, through conversations with her, i knew she would go for a girl if they said the right things..And CHristina said the right things obviously.. I have nothing to do with that. "i know, but thats weird.. ever since i heard that, she hasnt been in my car again, i was sending her off, making her get on the train".. lol, now thats super bogus, i dont even talk to her and i wouldnt have done that....(or would i)... But anywho.. i mean, i know she isnt gay, im leaning towards bi. I know she isnt experimenting, because this wasnt the first time she has had an encounter with a girl(oops did i say that, O well).. But anyway,that was just really funny when it happened, probably not as funny with me telling it.. but i guess you had to have been there!.. (

When I looked at this picture, i just had to put it on here, because this exactly how it looked, lol. Every 5 minutes my phone was going off and id say "hold on one second, i have to take this last one"... And shed just smile and say "go ahead"...I promise ill leave it in the car next time, lol.

But yeah, breakfast was cool, went to the usual Golden Griddle, where the service is great, the food is fast and the atmosphere is calming. I love it.

New York......

I personally found New York to be a very interesting and diverse place to be. And people have been asking me everyday since ive been back.."How was new york?", and i always told everyone one of two things, "it was disgusting". or "it was cool" and then of course i told my friends my views on the girls but i really didnt get a chance to sit down and talk about it all until this morning when i went out for my weekly breakfast outing.

As always that was cool,in addition to talking about new york, i realized that we are soooo much alike, in so many ways, and i realized that i really enjoy talking about something for hours, than talking about random things for hours..Both are cool, but i feel like you really get inside a persons head if you're talking about ...something..But anyway, this is going to end up turning into a post about something totally different, maybe later on.. lol. But anywho..

New York.... is disgusting. Honestly the only place i've been where the roaches actually chase you. It is an extremely fun city, i had fun every night i was there. The meetings were a little overwhelming, but i loved that too. The taxi drivers are hilarious, the trains are very entertaining. I mean, idk... I just cant see myself living there. Like i told Scar today,Chicago will probably always be my base, Atlanta will probably end up being my getaway, and New York will just be the place i visit every now and then. Like i met an investment banker from chicago, who actually loves new york, he sees it as the place he will live, and chicago will be the place where he settles down. And when we were messing with the girl in the Ice Cream store, she said that, if youre not 21, you really cant do anything, and Ryan (the investment banker), said the same.... Who knows....We'll see...

So I thought why not establish my very own website dedicated to that?" (That entrepreneurial mindset). She doesn't remember why she chose the name GirlMuch exactly. "It simply came across my mind and I fell in love with the name.

UIC here we come!

Its Amanda! One of the only reasons orientation was the lightest bit worth while!. August 18th= Me+You= Coldstone! Since... its right next door to my apartment. The whole crew definitely had fun. We can all agree that those seminars were boring.. but.. during our free time, i cant remember a dull moment. Me, you , Zach, Serg, Yi, Jessica. Too bad all of us are spread all over campus,(dorm wise)... Im sorry that youre stuck in courtyard :(. But hey, you know my building will be live all weekend.. starting thursday, for some reason, most upperclassmen dont have class friday! That sucks!. Hmmm, You know i hate kids, so bout those mixed babies you were talking about(insider)... Ill pass, i mean, dont get me wrong, youre gorgeous, but... but i hate kids.. And youd probably sleep more than them anyway, im not taking care of them! Like, you were the only person that i would glance at during any of the seminars, and youd be sleep 90% of the time.
